In the beginning...

Well it's not pretty and probably not my best bike purchase, I spotted the bike on Ebay and made an offer, I reckon it was worth it, coin toss between watching shite on TV or fiddling around in a shed freezing my tits off, the coin came down in favour of freezing my tits off and rebuilding the IT so off to Welsh Wales I went.
I told the missus it was just on the other side of the bridge, I didn't realise it was an 8 hour round trip into the deepest darkest welsh valleys to an old mining town called Merthyr Tydfil.
My amazing TomTom satnav took me straight to the front door of the seller, a pleasant young chap with a strong Welsh accent, we walked over to his garage and there IT was, covered in the day to day garbage of life, car tyres, damp and mould, sweet baby Jesus what have I bought!

Regrets I've had a few....
After the strip down I realised just how bad it was, it was all pretty rough, on the positive side it did come apart fairly easily, even the swinging arm pivot which is notoriously difficult to remove came out with little effort, the most stubborn part was the lower rear shock mount where it meets the top of the swinging arm. Plenty of WD40 did the trick. Next
